An Adult English Language Learner Needs You….
Join the Literacy Program for a free one-hour orientation to learn more about becoming a tutor to a motivated adult learner. No teaching or foreign language skills necessary, just a desire to be of service.
ORIENTATION DATES (only need to attend ONE)
Wednesday, April 17th, 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 19th, 10 a.m.
Ready to Commit ?
- Call the Literacy Program office at 831- 427-5077
- Attend the mandatory one (1) hour Free Orientation
- Sign up for the Tutor Training Series- 14 hours worth of focused training to give you the tools and techniques you need for tutoring success.
*****There is a ONE TIME $50 Materials Fee for the Training.
TUTOR TRAINING: Training will be held the last two weeks of April. Choose either afternoon or evening sessions:
EVENINGS: Mon/Weds 6-9:30 p.m., April 22, 24, 29, May 1 OR
AFTERNOONS: Tu/Th 1-4:30 p.m., April 23, 25, 30, May 2
