literacy-tutor-student1Learn How You Can Become a Volunteer Tutor   - Dec 12 & 16- Join the Literacy Program for a free one-hour orientation to learn about becoming a tutor to a motivated adult English language learner. No teaching or foreign language skills necessary, just a desire to be of service. This is a great opportunity to learn details about the extensive tutor training provided and to determine if this is the right volunteer fit for you. Orientations are available in both our Santa Cruz and Watsonville Offices. Learn More

Senior Tech Days – YouthSERVE and our senior centers are back in action to help local seniors increase their skills with technology, social media, and digital devices. Friends Outside_parent holding child's handFriends Outside Volunteer Orientation- 1st Tuesday of Every Month @ 10AM- Join Friends Outside staff at the Volunteer Center to learn how you can help individuals and families in the transition from incarceration to back to the community. Friends Outside volunteers are making huge strides in reducing the recidivism rate and you can too.  Learn More- email
