Helping Hands Senior Home Repair Program

KEEPING SENIORS SAFE IN THEIR HOMES

Helping Hands Volunteers perform minor home repairs for low and/or fixed income Senior Citizens. Repairs are often safety related such as the installation of grab bars or railings, fixing broken steps, making modifications to accomodate a wheel chair or walker, etc. Often something as simple as a grab bar will make it possible for a senior to stay in their own home, rather than having to go to assisted living or a convalescent home.
If you can hold a hammer, use a saw, do minor plumbing or electrical work, we want your help!
