Welcome to The Volunteer Centers of Santa Cruz County
Your Key to Volunteer Opportunities
For over thirty years the Volunteer Centers of Santa Cruz County have been connecting people who care with non-profit agencies who need volunteers.
Whether you're looking for a one day project or a long term opportunity, for yourself, your family, or a group of people, this web-site can be your key to unlocking the volunteer opportunities that best fit your interests.
If you volunteered during the last year, Thank You! You were one of over 15,000 people in Santa Cruz County who collectively gave over 500,000 hours of service to our community. It’s hard to imagine life, as we know it without volunteers. We would notice their absence at libraries, schools, hospitals, youth sports programs, parks, museums, shelters, environmental agencies, senior centers, and transportation programs for the elderly and disabled. If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, there are numerous local agencies that need your help now.
The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors has provided partial funding for this program.
