We hope you can join us in sponsoring our fourth annual “Trivia Challenge” to benefit the Literacy Program of Santa Cruz County.  As you know, illiteracy takes a heavy toll on our community affecting education, crime, employment, health, personal finances, and everyday communications.  Thanks to community support, last year we were able to train and provide 126 volunteer tutors for 188 students throughout Santa Cruz County.

We hope that community groups, businesses, and individual benefactors sponsor the Trivia Challenge to help underwrite the costs of the event, provide funds for media coverage, and support the Literacy Program directly. In addition to contributing greatly to the Literacy Program, your sponsorship will provide visibility for your organization.

The five levels of sponsorship range from $300 to $10,000.

Event Sponsorship Opportunities (5 levels)

Champion Seal—$ 10,000+

Includes banner on stage, two-page ad (facing pages) in program booklet, mention in all advertising materials, name and logo on event banner at entrance, name and logo on Trivia Challenge website, mention under Contributors in program booklet, four teams, and twelve complimentary spectator tickets.*

Elephant Seal—$ 5,000

Includes one-page ad in program booklet, mention in all advertising materials, name and logo on event banner at entrance, name and logo on Trivia Challenge website, mention under Contributors in program booklet, three teams, and nine complimentary spectator tickets.*

Sea Lion—$2,500

Includes half-page ad in program booklet, name and logo on event banner at entrance, name and logo on Trivia Challenge website, mention under Contributors in program booklet, two teams, and six complimentary spectator tickets.*

Harbor Seal—$1,000

Includes quarter-page ad in program booklet, name and logo on Trivia Challenge website, mention under Contributors in program booklet, one team, and six complimentary spectator tickets.*

Team Sponsor—$300

Includes mention under Contributors in program booklet, one team, and three complimentary spectator tickets.*

* NOTE: Sponsors have the option to select their own team members or to have team members selected by the Literacy Program to compete on their behalf. Please email literacy@scvolunteercenter.org or call 831-427-5077 if you would like the program to select team members for you.

Each team consists of up to three persons. Team registration is $300. Teams may choose to pay the fee themselves, gather funds from friends, and/or find a community group, individual benefactor or business sponsor. All groups, benefactors or businesses will be listed under Contributors in the Trivia Challenge program brochure. You may register online, by email or by mail.

Note: Teams whose registration fees are received or postmarked by September 7, 2012 will automatically qualify for a drawing to receive a $300 gift certificate (in three $100 certificates) to dine in casual elegance at Café Cruz located at 2621 41^st Avenue in Soquel.
